My goal for the organisation would be to 'get it right' followed by ‘to be the best’. My initial intervention would consist of setting up and facilitating a management team. The main function of the Management Team would be to ensure a professional and accountable running of the business. In doing this, a discussion forum would be established which would facilitate review and discussion. Key topics informing all discussions will be a focus on ‘where the company wants to go?’ versus ‘how the company is progressing to getting there?’

My interaction with the management team will be collaborative. In the understanding that each member of the team has a defined role and responsibilities my role will be to create a synergy whereby we all work together toward one common purpose. In forming this team together with professional mentoring your business would be set on a firm, healthy footing which will create a map for the future. My role would be predominately working through people in preparing the ground for a healthy organisation. Perfect preparation will deliver a successful outcome.

With new clients, I always arrange a free-of-charge preliminary discussion; either face-to-face or via the telephone or other medium where a meeting is not reasonably practicable. This ensures that the services I offer can be properly matched to the challenges that the client faces, and that I can add sufficient value to merit my involvement. This meeting also provides an important first step in establishing a productive client-consultant relationship.
